This product arrived on time, was easy to install and looked good where we installed it. However, the latch began to stick a month after installation. It takes an incredible amount of force to squeeze the two pieces together that are needed to open. Now the lock doesn't work at all. It is clear that the mechanism is poorly designed. The gates in our house are closed, out of five adults who use them regularly (all in good physical condition!), only one can open them, and even then it is often impossible to open them. I will try to get a replacement or get my money back this is ridiculous. Update: customer service was rubbish, unclear, only the third email from them told me I need a video showing me trying to use the gate. At this point I had taken it off and put it in the garage. Also, the video (95MB) is too much to upload to this site. I'm not happy, I just want a functional baby gate for my amazingly active child.
