Soap Viscosity - Kitchen & Bath Tools

IMO The main detail missing from the instructions is 'soap viscosity'. Higher viscosity or thicker soaps can cause system problems. The "anti-skid accessory" has a mesh in the center (held at the bottom of the tube) to filter out dirt and soap lumps (I think). This will cause the pump to return slower than it originally did and prevent soap from flowing freely through the hose. In addition, each section of tubing that has connections for items such as the check valve and anti-skid device has a smaller inner diameter. This will also help restrict and slow the flow. I suspect anyone having trouble with this unit (like me) is dealing with a soap viscosity issue. Although I have not tried thinning my soap or replacing it with a thinner soap. For me it fires a full shot on first inflation and after waiting about a minute it fires another full shot. I did not remove the mesh installed between the bottom of the hose and in the anti-lock device as I believe it helps prevent water from leaking out the bottom of the hose. Great idea but needs a bit more setup and MUCH better instructions. If this were "foolproof" they wouldn't need any instructions at all. It's definitely not "foolproof". Finally, I also think that thicker soap can keep the check valve open and allow backflow if not installed fully vertically.
