My cat is obsessed with my two gerbils who live in a 20 gallon aquarium. We have a glass aquarium and a privacy cover over it. It got to the point that I was afraid to leave her alone with them because she quickly learned to hit the point and move them. I bought two packs of Zilla Reptile Terrarium Clamps and they gave me peace of mind. I put one on each end of the gas cap. They snap into place very easily and don't move when in place. I was worried that they would be difficult to put on and take off (for a human) and that it would hurt every time I had to change the sheets, feed them, or pet gerbils; Luckily I press down and can easily remove the clip. It's not as difficult as I thought. The clips work great, they didn't bend even after being taken off and removed every day. Overall I am very satisfied and so happy that I can now keep my gerbils away from cats. I also don't have to worry about the tank tipping over (probably never because it's a big tank) and the lid falling off!
