I like it, but the installation is more complicated than I thought.

Got this through a friend's recommendation and I love it. The biggest draw, of course, is the low-profile design, which certainly lived up to my expectations and looked very solid too. At the same time, you also need to look at a few things and make sure this isn't a problem before you start installing. .1) Where there are metal bars there is absolutely no room for cables to pass through. Plan sockets and connections accordingly. I used this to install a brand new 65" Samsung SUHD TV that comes with a 7ft proprietary cable. A 6ft HDMI used to be enough to reach my closet under the TV, but now the Samsung junction box hangs on the back of the TV. Closet as a large chunk of cable is only used to maneuver the metal bars 2) You must also have a recessed power connector Very small protrusions hold the vertical bars to the horizontal bar and loads of cable that doesn't allow the TV to be perfectly perpendicular to the floor standing, which means the latches cannot secure the TV. The Samsung comes with an L-shaped power bracket, which is a much lower profile than others I've seen, but it still didn't work and I added one to my setup added another step. Of course the installation was a lot more tedious than I had hoped compared to all my previous LED TV installations where the bracket wasn't that low.

Pros
  • ProSet height and height adjuster after installation
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
