I missed CarPlay from my previous car. I found this system and decided to see how well it worked. It was very easy to install and the added benefit was the front camera which made parking a lot easier. The camera is automatically activated when you approach something in front of you and you can then see it on the screen. Having CarPlay is just as great as any other car, except my Tesla now has it. You'll also see all of the other dashboard icons in front of your PRND, as well as remaining battery percentage, remaining miles, engine temp, turn signals, headlight and high beam status, speed, speed limit, and an autopilot indicator. It's a great second screen that sits right behind the wheel and makes your Tesla that much better.
