This hood performs well, is relatively easy to assemble and looks great. We had to trim (cut) the duct cover to fit our 1846 ceiling height, but it wasn't very difficult and worked well. I want it, but it works fine; - The instructions say absolutely nothing about how to connect the power ie find an outlet for the plug or if it can be hardwired. and, - there is nothing on the reliable attachment of the main vent and fan unit to the wall, although if you look closely there are 2 holes for screws in the back panel.
