I ordered 6x9 in ivory. The appearance of the rug is exactly what I expected and wanted, so I am very happy with it. Delivery was also very quick considering it came via ground mail. Happy with it again. smell but. As soon as I unpacked my whole apartment was filled with a musty smell. As other reviewers have pointed out, the rug appeared to have been stored in the basement for centuries. Since I was in a city apartment, I didn't have the option of ventilation from the outside, so I opened all the windows in the apartment until bedtime. By the morning of the next day, the smell was already gone and I didn't notice it until I walked past the room where it was located. So, to be realistic, in about a week everything would be fine. However, this is my child's room so I didn't want to wait a week. Luckily she was gone, so I had time to take care of the problem. I bought a bottle of extra strength Febreze for fabric and set about spraying the carpet in stages. First the entire surface, then let it dry. Then back and let dry. Then forward again. Left the windows open for a few more hours. Went outside and came back to see if I could still smell him in case I was blind. Now the room smelled mostly of Febreze with a hint of mustiness. It's now the next day and I still smell a faint odor every now and then, but I expect it will be almost invisible after a few days. Knowing what I know, I will probably still buy this rug again. It lays very well on the carpet and stays in place. It unfolded perfectly, even the edge that was stretched in the middle of the roll lay flat. However, if you're using the floor, you'll definitely need something underneath to keep it from slipping. I like the soft and relaxed look it gives to my daughter's room. One final note: if you have a heavy vacuum, you may need to be careful of little bits of cloth sticking out here and there. You can see what I mean in the closeup photo I posted. I have one of these Sharks with a heavy top so it should glide right over the carpet but heavy vacuums can drag and snag.
