- These glowsticks are toys at best. They don't emit much light and were at a third of their original brightness within 2 hours. At 12 o'clock all that remains is a faint glow that can only be seen in the darkest room. - There is no expiry date on the packaging. - These glowsticks also come with a silver emergency blanket and an orange survival whistle. - Silver Rescue Blanket: This is a standard reflective polyester blanket that fits nicely in any emergency or first aid kit. 5-in-1 Orange Survival Whistle: This is really another toy and I am very disappointed in its quality. The compass does not work. A small lighter will work, but it's placed high enough on the plastic handle that the spark can't reach the tinder. A waterproof match leaks despite the rubber ring. The whistle is quite loud even with shallow breathing. - The quality of the glow sticks and accessories is inferior, toy-like and not worth the price. I do not recommend.
