I already have the same caliper but with inch markings. I prefer it for most jobs because it makes it extremely easy to figure out customs breaches. I work as a mobile technician and want something that I can put in my tool bag, never run out of battery or change gears, and always be ready to go. It can get a bit tight at the beginning. I put a little oil on the slide from time to time and wipe off any residue. Over time the mating surfaces will be polished and the tool will become very smooth.
