Stop annoying oil plug leaks

My corolla has never had an oil plug washer but after the last oil change it started to drip very slowly. During the night it can drip two or three times. It's not a problem with the engine, but I don't want oil leaks in my garage. So I got a washer and put it on the oil drain plug. That was two weeks ago and not a single drop.
