We lost the remote control. I tried another universal remote but our TV doesn't have a power switch and had to be turned on for the universal remote to be programmed. It is the perfect replacement for Visio. Worked straight away, no programming codes. We like it better than the original. The original felt cheap and the backing kept falling off. It easily holds five kids and throws, which I wasn't expecting from such an affordable replacement. The keys are soft and responsive and don't feel like they fall off easily. It looks like it has some custom buttons that can be programmed as well. Worth the price.
