They have a surprisingly low profile which makes them easy to place almost anywhere. For example, if you have more than 1 inch overhang under the grill, they will fit. This makes them extremely versatile. This kind of versatility isn't even found in most mini-cube lights, and they *should* put out significantly more light than LED modules in their price range. They feel a little cheap in the hand as they are VERY light. Seriously, I have a number of pods that are almost twice the weight of this one. I've had exceptional luck with Hikari products in the past. Hikari's "Eyes of Megatron" still has nearly 40,000 miles on the Grand Cherokee. I haven't connected them but I'm sure they will work fine with my rally rig.
