Once installed this unit works fine. The problem was in the installation. It was pretty difficult. My dad and I aren't professional installers but we've done a lot of this type of work and we replaced an existing DVD box so it should have been pretty easy. It's not like this. Of course, we finally did it, but we recommend that if you're considering a do-it-yourself installation, give yourself plenty of time, as it can likely be harder than you anticipate. Another point is that we chose this device because it was the only device at the time. that Revain offered played physical DVDs (as opposed to SD cards, memory cards, Bluetooth, etc.). So we weren't sure about this brand, we just had to take a chance. But so far, about 5 months, it's been a success. We bought an extended warranty (which we usually never do) simply because there were no other suppliers. I can recommend this product. Good luck shopping.
