I've had this little air purifier for a little over a week now. I have it in my guest bathroom to keep the air fresh and odor free. So far I have nothing to complain about. The item arrived packed in a small black box. It was a secure and neat package with a small page of information about the device. The device itself is quite small. It is matte black with an orange/amber LED strip. The light is the only immediate indication that the device is on once plugged in, and there's no way to turn the light off. If the room isn't very dark, the light won't be very bright, and in a dark room the light won't be bright enough to be a night light or anything, so I don't think the light is distracting in any way. to quantify the device's ability to purify air. This unit does not have a fan and filter like more expensive units designed to remove allergens and irritants from large spaces. These devices often have a filter and an ionization function. This device filters by ionization only, which means it uses electricity to negatively charge air molecules, which then attach to irritants. When this connection is made, the particles must be too heavy and thus fall to the ground. This device does not emit any noticeable smell or sound, but I have no reason to doubt its performance. Knowing what this cleaner is for, I would recommend it to anyone looking for something similar. I wouldn't advise anyone to get one as I expect it to work wonders in a very large room but would rather benefit a smaller area.
