96 XJ The left engine mount had to be removed and some sanding done to install the new mount as others have pointed out. The brackets fit together snugly and I have found that in order to align everything you have to loosen all the screws on the plates that attach to the block and then align everything from there. There was some pain. If I had to do it all over again I would just use urethane inserts to attach the stock. Definitely more vibration in the gearbox but it's an old Jeep so no big deal. I wanted to do them while working on the lift but to be honest it was easier to do it on the ground as you spend quite a bit of time working on both the top and under the car. Several SUVs and a screw jack from my pickup truck to jack up the engine worked like a champ.
