Review on 🔒 Hornbill Smart Lock: Keyless Fingerprint Entry with Touchscreen Keypad, Bluetooth Connectivity, and Reversible Handle by George Saunier

I was very interested in this lock because of all the locking and unlocking possibilities. First, let me say that you MUST have a remote blocking gateway. Also, I actually had to re-drill the mounting plate as it was drilled to the wrong size holes. Even the printed instructions are useless. If you have chosen this lock, please make it easy on yourself and watch the installation video, otherwise it makes little sense. The lock itself did not match my installed lock and I actually had to swap two out as my door is older and pre-drilled. The last thing I would like to note is that there is no way to lock this lock from the inside. You must use the app on your phone. Also don't try to check if the door is locked from the inside as the handle kept turning from the inside as if unlocked and would let me leave the house even if locked from the outside. Other than that, this lock is good if you don't have kids ever visiting your house or make sure there is another lock on the door. Since the boldfaced writing had to be moved to the bottom mounting hole and made accessible to a child, I am returning this product. **UPDATE** After I wrote this review and returned my product, the company that sells this item contacted me and tried to fix it in any way they could to help me find a lock that would both suits my home as well as my look. I spoke to both Melody and Kelly and they were both as helpful as I could ask for. I originally rated this chateau 2 stars but am updating the listing based on the effort these two wonderful women have put in to ensure I have met all my needs. Needless to say, both Kelly and Melody will solve any problems if you are unsatisfied.
