Works surprisingly well and the hot glue doesn't damage the paint/clear coat. It is very easy to clean with medical alcohol. One day while I was playing golf I was walking back to my truck and someone hit me with a door. Googled and found this device. The slide hammer works great, don't be afraid to use force. It must "pop" to remove the dent. I've used it around the edge of a door several times. It's not even noticeable anymore.
