I bought this dress in three colors—black, army green, and the pineapple print. For reference, I am 5’6” and 215lbs, with a pear shape and 36DDD bra. I bought XL in the dresses.All three dresses fit differently. The black and green were a similar none stretch fabric. The black fit okay, but the green was too tight around my hips. The skirt is not actually a free flowing cut, it is more of a tube shape after coming out from the waist.The pineapple dress was a completely different fabric, very stretchy polyester. It fit me the best of the three, but the fabric was quite see through. if you have to wear a slip, it kind of defeats the purpose of a sun dress, IMO. It was see through enough that my husband said he could see my skin tone through it, and I am whiter than white.All three dresses squashed my chest in an unpleasant way and the waist already sits so high that adding a bra with more shape would just hike it up higher. I also didn’t care for the placement of the straps.I prefer straps that sit closer to the outside of the torso and these are closer to each other, which has the effect of making me look plumper than I am.Some of this is preference, so keep that in mind. But because these dresses are made in China and are not expensive, material and cut will vary possibly in every piece. I was hoping to wear one of these to a wedding, but I’m sending them all back.
