I was just reading other reviews before leaving this one. Someone mentioned dust. I have no dust. The nest also doesn't just fall apart when you touch it. If it's not balanced, just move the rings that attach it to the nest until it's upside down (also adjust the distance you attach it to the top of the cage). I have a Meyers parrot that LOVES this nest. It does not nest in it, but likes to sit on the edge and linger. He's been chewing on part of the bottom of the nest, but despite being thin, he's still strong. He likes to swing back and forth and play with it. He is in perfect health and plumage and has never been sick from this nest or for any other reason. He has had a nest since autumn or late summer 2018. I doubt it will be comfortable to sit in, but I think if you put a piece of polar fleece on top it would be fine.
