1) What is the remaining 14 GB used for? Truth? That little thing aside (probably), I've read all these reviews that the transfer speed is pretty good. But I don't experience it. The drive always starts with a burst of speed when writing and then slows down to almost a standstill after a few seconds. 2) The assembly isn't very good, it's just cheap "squeaky" plastic; One weird day just squeezing a little harder than usual would probably break it. And that would probably be due to the Type-C USB connector, which is incredibly true to size! Between my phone, my brother's phone, and my two laptops, I can't get less than a fight inserting and ejecting that side of the drive, which is why I bought it in the first place, so yeah, not good! This drive is used solely for content, downloading movies and TV shows from my phone and watching them on my laptop and vice versa, that's all. 3) The sliding mechanism is quite weak; The build would benefit from some sort of stop check, i.e. a display lock so you know when you've reached center when pulling back on both sides of the drive so you don't just slide past it like you are doing now. 4) If used for more than 10 minutes at a time, it gets pretty hot, no ifs and buts. I usually use SanDisk for storage, so I figured this would be an easy choice. .to put it mildly, I expected a lot more.
