The bag has a Velcro strap that helps secure the shoulder straps.

I absolutely love it for my work on the door. It's durable, the handles hold up well, the food always stays hot. I can place two orders for large paper bags here and leave some room for the sides. Super comfortable. The zippers are fairly strong and don't snag too much, making it easy to load and remove groceries from the bag. It also has 2 zippers, which is handy when shipping. I can only recommend it and will buy a second one soon :)
