I have a microfiber mop that I bought years ago. It worked really well but over time the telescoping handle decided it wouldn't hold up anymore so now every time I squeeze the mop it just squeezes it. Also, this one had a screw on the head and also tended to get lost so you couldn't push it hard without twisting instead of pushing. It has a ball and socket joint mechanism where the head meets the shaft. It's quite an ingenious design that works exactly how your arm/ball of shoulder and socket joint (you'd think people would have thought of this before with tools like this since shoulder joints aren't new!) move across the floor. The ergonomic thing about it is not when you use a stick (hold the stick/pen like a mop) but when you hold the cushion itself by the blue ball. Normally, we really bend our wrists to hold towels and rags, causing tension in unnatural movements/postures. Holding the ball puts your wrist and forearm in a more natural position. You can also push off with the middle and back of your hand without using your fingers. If you're like me, you know what it's like to push the rag with the back of your hand because your fingers are tired! Contains fluffy microfiber pads and smoother pads. I wasn't quite sure what the smoother ones were for as my old mop only had coarse and fine microfiber types. According to the sphero website, the MicroWorks® pad is a "special low-lint, flat pad for streak-free cleaning on glass, mirrors and other reflective surfaces". I'm a fan of window squeegees, so I might end up using other coarse window cleaning attachments and then a squeegee. also a smaller and larger head for pads. They are interchangeable for each handle and can be used without a handle. The short one fits most walls and tub/shower. The longer one fits for the floor and higher objects. I wish it came with a really coarse type of microfiber to hold a lot of outside window soap and dust. The kind that looks like it's made out of lots of microfiber fingers! Here is a set of 4 different branded attachments that look like they should go with this set, I might end up buying them. from this product that doesn't have these things but would be good additional items for the system. Heck, even sandpaper would be better to hold them!
