Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Giro Verce MIPS Women's Mountain Cycling Helmet - Sleek Matte Midnight Finish (2021) by Mark Sutovsky

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Small Heads for Riding

I have a small head and when I saw this MIPS helmet rated for women - if I could wear youth size - I decided to give it a try. Fits great for me and it's a light block. The skull strap folds down easily to keep it tight on the head, it takes a little more force to loosen, but you can easily take off the helmet. The vents are pretty good, I can feel the air moving through them, but it works well enough for the average rider. I didn't have a bike helmet on and had big doubts about the price and quality but it was worth it, I can't put my little head in a giant bubble. I just want to wear something slim and more aerodynamic. I like matte colors better than glossy ones, so I have to look at visibility colors differently. This helmet fits my scheme very well and I hope I've done a better job than sacrificing a youth helmet with little or no rating. Let's hope we never get to test it for protection in a crash. Yes the chin strap is set back a bit but I don't tighten it to avoid choking and I still get a pretty good fit - especially since I'm more concerned about not looking at the head of the helmet, this is for me the best option. . I'm pretty sure it will help me get through the summer and upgrade if I have problems. Keep calm and ride!
