unless you know a lot about wireless network devices. The WLAN chipset from Broadcom/Realtek is very easy to use. Tried with three distros - MX-Linux, Lubuntu and Mint. Spent three days getting it working. I finally managed to get it working thanks to a contribution by Jeremy to the Linux Mint community. I've had probably 6-7 HP computers (desktops and laptops) over the years and overall this one seems 'cheap'. IN ADDITION, there is no indicator on the top plate to show if it is lit OR if the drive is working. Just two tiny lights on the right margin. The power button is a small, barely raised bar with no positive physical feedback. The sound is good, the speed is good. I'm older than the earth and if I didn't know that this would probably be my last new computer I would say I would never buy an HP again but that would be an empty threat! giggle
