I upgraded my Tivo Bolt HD 500GB to a 2TB HD model, it was easy and now I've increased the storage capacity from 75 hours to 315 hours. When it comes to updating Tivo Bolt, there are some great videos online to help you. Screw size Torx T10. This disk was about 2mm larger than the original 500GB disk. it still fits with no problems. The only problem I had was connecting the fan cable to the new hard drive. I used double sided tape. Finally, no formatting was required on my Tivo Bolt.
