Nice way to keep birds away from windows

Easy to hang on the window but we realized we had to hang them outside the window to be able to see outside. Unfortunately, because outside one of them has already curled up in the rain. However, the other two are safe. They are larger than I expected, around 6-8 inches depending on the butterfly or hummingbird. Period which are the only two I've used
