Review on Enhanced Pottery Tool Set - 12-Piece Deluxe Kit with Storage Canister by Jack Richeson by Kim Sanchez

I was looking for a set of pottery tools that looked good and worked well. They do a good job for a beginner. Ribs, wood knife, wood modeling tools, and a wire tool are larger than the usual pieces that come in a starter kit. I was worried they might be too big, but I really like their handle, especially the wire tool! Both the wooden ends and the wire itself are thicker/larger, making the wire much more comfortable to hold and wrap around your fingers (and not deform the wire!). I had no problem cutting the wire through the bottom of the piece as long as I left the correct base thickness. My only complaint is that I can wiggle one of the ends of the trim tool (the smaller one) a bit, and I think I'll have to glue it back on later. Trimming with this tool is no problem, but with the right support it shouldn't budge. Larger cutting tool, the end of the triangular loop is not flat but strong. Haven't tried the brushes but they look like they're going to fall off - although they're still useful for applying wax resist.
