    Cheap broken waste of money

    Terrible set. Not only one of the instruments was broken, the other one was already broken. As soon as I started washing the clay off the needle tool, this rough purple color started coming off. The next day my hands are still slightly stained and it is not known if the material is non-toxic. This is totally unacceptable. Don't buy this.

    Ideal for beginners and intermediate

    I think the value of pottery tools is really in the eyes and hands of the artist. Personally, I don't use tools very often, but they are necessary for joining parts and shaping or cleaning internal parts or very rounded areas or for machining parts. I especially liked that they come in a carrying case. I try to stay clean and tidy and every opportunity is helpful. I can use them again. The handles are strong yet easy to maneuver in tight spaces.     Good quality clay tool set

    I needed a beginner set of clay tools. I looked at the many kits available from Revain and chose this kit because it was a reasonable price for the amount of tools I received. Based on reviews of other kits, one of the things that drew me to this kit was that most of the parts were machined/painted (many of the other kits I looked at were raw wood).     Sturdy beginner's pottery tool set, larger than the Kemper set

    I was looking for a set of pottery tools that looked good and worked well. They do a good job for a beginner. Ribs, wood knife, wood modeling tools, and a wire tool are larger than the usual pieces that come in a starter kit. I was worried they might be too big, but I really like their handle, especially the wire tool! Both the wooden ends and the wire itself are thicker/larger, making the wire much more comfortable to hold and wrap around your fingers (and not deform the wire!). I had no…
