Very nice. Bright enough to see the LED in normal daylight. EDIT: I used them for about six months to fix some of my construction work. Lighted cords are generally useful for figuring out if there's power or if you're still plugged in, down a flight of stairs and around a corner. This female ending is very hard; It gets walked on and tripped over constantly and it holds up very well. A lot of people complain about screws. I found them no more difficult to install than any other repair plug I have ever used. As for brightness, the LED is always visible unless it's in direct sunlight. Bright enough for a quick look inside. Still five stars.
