I bought four of these while trying to determine the cooler temperatures in all my bar beer coolers. Each of my coolers already had its own thermometer, but they always seemed inconsistent with the temperature the coolers were set to. First, I placed all four new thermometers side by side in the same refrigerator to check their consistency. All four were within a few degrees of each other, which was good enough for my needs. then I sent them all to their new homes and left the old ones in the fridges too to see how close they were. one of the old thermometers was actually off by almost 15 degrees! These thermometers have larger dials than the ones I've used before. They're easy to spot at a glance across the temperature range with color-coded bands if you're too far away to read the numbers or if your eyesight isn't perfect (like mine). Now I have all the coolers set to the same temperature. As we use these coolers to store and sell beer, temperature consistency is essential as customers will notice when their new beer is warmer than their previous beer. this is not good and can easily be avoided with these new thermometers. I bought my thermometers from gatzies for $4.68 each + free shipping. Arrived in a box in retail packaging in about a week. they also arrived in perfect condition. Excellent purchase!
