The built-in output sometimes does not recognize the connected Samsung LU28 monitor after waking it up from sleep mode. This often requires a restart of the computer. Since I started using this USB-C to HDMI converter, I don't have such problem anymore. The image quality is absolutely fine with all resolutions and is inconspicuous due to the small size of the adapter. An economical solution to an annoying problem. Please note that the monitor is on 24/7 and the adapter did get a little warmer, but not warmer than other adapters I use.
