Edit: Still solid after almost 1 year! I love those! I've included a few photos for reference of my "regular" hair ties, which I twist three times for a full ponytail. These are the same size. I tried soft twisted (red in the picture) ties before switching to silk. These silk ties have the same slightly thicker stripe on the inside instead of the thin black ones in my photo. The stitching is PERFECT on all 9, very strong, no threads are sticking out. . They are stretchy but keep their shape. They are ideal for minimizing hair breakage and hair loss. I sleep in it to "pineapple" my curls and I've never had more than 3 strands that fall out when I pull them back in the morning compared to a tangle of hair that sticks to regular hair ties. I don't like 80's/90's hair ties, but I love silk hair so this is the thinnest option. 9 is a generous amount as they are unlikely to break any time soon. I expect to get at least 2 years of these before needing to replace them.
