In general, this is a good charger for my car. Charges well and seems durable. Looks good too. My reason for the bad rating is the poor quality of the mounting adhesive. When I opened the package I was glad to see the glue. I peeled the backing paper from the double sided tape, placed it on the back of the charger and cleaned the area on the dash to attach it. I put the charger on the dash and it immediately fell off. There was no dust or oil on the dashboard so I tried again. the same thing. I checked the charger. Since the sticky pad was pretty much ruined, I saw that it wasn't sticking well to the charger. Upon closer inspection, there was a very thin layer of something on the charger's body (possibly oil or something used in finishing). Please understand that this is a good product and I would be willing to give it five stars based on its performance, but any stars below five are due to poor adhesive film on the product.)
