My windows can be cleaned excellently with this. I moisten a microfiber cloth with clear water and use it to clean windows. It does a great job cleaning windows with plain tap water. I also use a small microfiber cloth in combination with this device to reach places that a mop cannot reach (glass edges). This does a great job of removing my dog's nose prints from the glass. I like this setup as I'm trying to reduce my need for harsh and toxic cleaning chemicals. I also bought a 12ft stick to help clean hard to reach places.
