In 2022, I purchased two discs (from the same batch), and quickly raided an array. Mostly, I used it to alter videos and play games. It was a good thing that I backed up all my data on a separate device. After about six to seven months, odd clicking sounds started coming from the drive enclosure. Many diagnostic tools have confirmed that all disks are in perfect condition. The tests that I did came back normal. It stands to reason that such signs would not be accepted under warranty. X-day finally arrived a few weeks after that. The disk has failed. The WD was replaced with a new one as part of the warranty. The second infected media player is still functional. 11/31/2022.
