I have replaced the 30A plug and socket on the van. The hot leg on the old spark plugs melted on my last ride. Removing the plug and installing a new one was easy. The 4 mounting screws fit perfectly. I then used a hacksaw to cut the outlet on my power cord, stripped 3 of the wires and trimmed the white asbestos insulation so no threads got in the way of the wire connections as detailed in the instructions which also reminds you around the black retaining ring and plug cover (exactly in that order) before you connect the three wires. I used petroleum jelly around the front edge of the lid and twisted and turned until the edge of the rubber lid was on top of the plastic bushing. I then placed the end of the fork on the table and continued twisting, pushing, and twisting the lid until it was resting on the fork. In general, about an hour and a half passed from start to start of the drilling rig.
