Well, I'm one of those people who read product reviews before the manufacturer's description. At the same time, I give little feedback myself. I have to test this product because it worked perfectly for my 13 grandchildren during the 4th week of July. After reading most of the reviews on this product I also decided to buy the ball that sits in the middle between the boot and the Super Mabel. The ball is changing the world and I strongly recommend buying it. It keeps the towline above the waterline even in the tightest of turns. If you have a high position in tow you might not need it, but if you are strapped to the stern of the boat you will need it. We filled the raft with air using a standard electric air mattress pump and didn't have to refill it for the whole week. At times we had over 600 pounds on the raft with no problem. The more weight on the raft, the better the sailing. Keep the raft away from anything that could potentially puncture it and you'll be fine. Outstanding quality that will give years of pleasure. BUY IT!
