I have doubts about the choice of this product. I was working on a cat pee stain/odor on the carpet. In some places the odor was removed while in others it was amplified. I had to use the entire bottle in an area of about 1.5 x 1.5 feet. I really wanted to feed him and make sure he got the stuffing. This left an unpleasant urinal and potty smell. I rinsed very well and dabbed with water and it helped a little. What finally got the job done was a hefty (whole box!) sprinkling of dry baking soda, allowing it to soak deep into the carpet for a few hours, then vacuuming it up. The simple solution worked, but it was just one step in a larger process. I wish it didn't stink! That way I would know the smell was just gone and not just covered up.
