Review on Minoura LW-Clamp: Ultimate Handle Bar Attachment for Enhanced Performance by Jason Vigil

This type of clip is hard to find. I've been looking for a long time for an all metal clamp to attach to a steering wheel or other round object with a 5mm bolt hole. The only non-metallic parts of this clamp are the gaskets. They are plastic but well made and will help you secure round pipes of a variety of sizes. it's happening It's very durable and well designed, just what I needed. I didn't want some crappy junk plastic on my bike (all the frame clamps are solid metal, steel, or alloy—no crappy plastic ties, so I didn't want a plastic ball with a protruding tail on my stem.) One thing I didn't like, it's the Writing on the clip that you really can't see well in the picture. The black cover of the aluminum clip was screen printed with "Minura" and a few other words. The way I wanted to mount it would be upside down as well. However, I was able to remove the writing very easily with Scratch-X Polishing Paste. I'm not a fan of decals or branding on my bike components. Unless it says something special like 105, Ultegra or Dura-Ace, I don't want it standing on my bike ;) But making this clip all black and classy was a simple solution.
