Review on Energizer Black LED Headlamp: Rugged, Water Resistant 🔦 Light for Running, Camping, Outdoor Activities, Storms - Batteries Included by Ken Coste

The engineer who programmed the logic for this lamp should be fired. My husband and I tried to get the two lamps we bought from the stable to work; both showed an equally wobbly behavior. On the red LED it is sometimes perceived as "off" with a long press, and in other cases as a normal press. With a white LED, sometimes a long press will treat it as a dimmer, sometimes as "off". It doesn't switch between different modes consistently. Within the first few minutes of trying to figure out how to get the result I wanted, both my husband and I were furious. There is also an inset, but there are no actual instructions. It only contains images of the different modes, but does not indicate how each mode is reached. If they provided an explanation, maybe we could figure out how to make them work for us. Why is one of the buttons labeled as a power button when it's a toggle button that cycles through four settings? And why does the product description say that the button labeled the power button is the power button when it isn't? Seriously, I expected more from a big name like Energizer. Meet for action.
