I have these to attach a load to my bike rack and I am grateful. To be honest I did a lot of research trying to find secure straps to attach bags to my rack and something I could easily hide so it was always ready and it was the best I could find. It's very simple and can be used for things big and small, and for a bike you can just wrap it around the frame when not in use. feel that it is an item that meets a need for which there are multiple options.
