I think my nose is medium or small for a grown man. I found these clips painfully tight right out of the box. However, they are repairable. I held the curved section of the clamp strap over the gas stove flame about 4 inches above the flame with kitchen tongs. I did this for about 20-30 seconds to temporarily soften the plastic of the strap. I immediately spread the clip further with my fingers while the curved portion of the tape was still hot and pliable. The band cooled within seconds and widened slightly. The adjusted width was comfortable. The nose clips now fit and work perfectly. I think finding the perfect nose clip is a matter of chance. This was a bug at first, but once fixed they worked great.
