Review on Upgrade Your Workshop With Grizzly'S Deluxe 14-Inch Bandsaw - Anniversary Edition by Timothy Hughes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My bandsaw was fine

This is not a Powermatic. It's grizzly. As in life you get what you pay for. This is better than most not as good as your high end saws. This one has done every thing I needed it to do. I've even resawed some teak and maple with it. Not wasting any of the teak. I did put the riser on it with some help. I did a lot of research before this purchase and landed on this one for the price and quality. I haven't had any issue with the power resawing either. Changing blades is easy and the dust port works good.I did cut 10 inches of the base to lower it because I'm in a wheelchair paralyzed from the chest down. I work out of my small workshop so I don't know how much this makes me qualified but I highly recommend.UPDATE 11/19/2015: I had to upgrade to a Laguna 185400 for a better resaw. The grizzly was fine for the smaller stuff but as my skills and abilities expanded so did my need for a better saw. I still use it and I switched it to a 240 and it seems not to bog down as much if I go to fast at times
