Ideal for removing cable clamp from battery posts; I have a RAM 2500 Diesel with very strong electrical cables that over time become very attached to the battery posts - when they need service or removal these cable clamps can damage the battery posts while disconnecting them - this tool grips the underside of the cable clamp and pull up while pressing on the top of the terminal without damaging the terminal) - and exactly as stated on the product description (there have been some previous product reviews saying the cone of the device is plastic - this, that I received yesterday is machined aluminum)
