Review on 🖱️ Logitech MX Master Wireless Mouse: High-Precision Sensor, Easy-Switch up to 3 devices, Meteorite Black by Goro Shimada ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I thought it would be better, but overall not bad.

In general, the mouse is good, it supports 3 devices easily, although the switching occurs with a slight delay. The real price for it is 6 - 7 thousand, apparently at the start of sales, the merchants raised the price tag. I think if I chose a mouse for my office again, I would most likely buy it again, but I really want all of the listed shortcomings to be fixed in MX MASTER 4 and finally make the perfect mouse for all operating systems (including Linux)! Another idea, under the ring finger and little finger, you can place additional 2 buttons, they immediately suggest themselves there.

Pros
  • The most important! Finally, Logitech paid attention to us, Linux support is declared on the box, albeit with a footnote, but thanks anyway! I didn’t see the description of the footnote, and I won’t say what it means yet, but on KUbuntu all the buttons are perceived by the system out of the box, which means you can easily reconfigure their functionality)))
Cons
  • - It’s really a real problem with the wheel, it doesn’t behave responsively, the precise positioning mode is now combined with inertial scrolling and it’s wildly infuriating, now you need to calculate the scrolling effort so as not to accidentally switch to inertia. Bring back the old version of the wheel as it was done on the M555b. - The side scroll wheel is invented and it has no inertia, if you need to wind something far, then it is useless. Make it spin a little more freely. - If I ergonomically put my hand on the mouse, then I can’t press the button under the thumb. Move the button to the front of the mouse instead of placing it in the middle.
