Nice looking, yes. Illuminating, no.
This is a very unique bulb. It has a very old fashioned look. If you need it for illumination however, this won't do it. This 40 watt bulb puts out the light of a normal 20 watt bulb, and the light is very yellow at that. If you just need accent lighting, this is a very distinctive item.
