Fantastic - meets all my needs

I suspect like most people considering the MA620M I've used a Wraith Prism to cool my Ryzen and while it's a great stock cooler it's definitely not the best air cooling solution. And pretty loud. As someone who prefers to use air, I started looking for better alternatives and this one showcased many of the options I had. I needed a quiet, powerful antenna solution that looked good, or at least didn't look bad. That's exactly what this cooler is. In terms of looks, I personally think this is the prettiest air cooler. only looks. breathtaking. And it looks every bit as good as you'd hope. It's 10/10 in looks. hands down RGB has sleek lines and isn't as flashy as many others. Lately I've been giving up RGB in my builds and I think that's the way to go. The size. It is big. The cooler height is given as 165 mm, which seems to be correct. With my Lian Li Lancool II case, the cooler distance is 175mm and the cooler protrudes about 1cm out of the glass. Check your case clearance before ordering as clearance can be an issue on large coolers like this. Despite its height, however, it doesn't feel overly bulky and all of the nearby RAM and headers are accessible. So it's big, but otherwise not particularly bulky. Noise. what sound? In all my testing, this thing was very, very quiet. I don't hear it at idle. During the stress test, I barely hear it when I bring my head to my body. I can't hear it at all while gaming due to the GPU fan noise. I am 100% satisfied with the noise level compared to Prism.Performance. It's good. I wouldn't say it's the best, but it's good and definitely better than Prism. I am using a Stock Ryzen 7 3700X on MSI X570 Gaming Plus Wifi. It idles around 40°C, CPU-Z stress test for 20 minutes it hits 70.5°C, gaming (Borderlands 3 for 30 minutes) it is capped at 60°C, all these temperatures are around 5 -10°C .. lower than what I got with the Prism. It runs quietly and still looks good. Pretty good, not great, but good enough for what I want to do. I would feel 100% confident overclocking with this cooler, which I will probably do in the future. Although, to be honest, PBO is enabled on these Ryzen chips, it's probably not necessary or even worth it. But I think if you go for it, this cooler will give you some headroom. Installation wise, I don't see why anyone should have trouble with this. The instructions are very clear, although I didn't even have to use them. Took me 15 minutes and didn't have to remove the motherboard, although you must remove it if you can't access the back of the board in the case. The baseplate is loose as other reviewers have mentioned, but it tightens when you actually install the tower, so that's fine. All in all, the installation was very easy - probably the easiest I've ever installed. I didn't use the included RGB controller, but I can say I can control and sync via the MSI Dragon Center (Mystic Light), so it should work with whatever software your board uses. So in summary I am 100% satisfied with this cooler. It may not be the best maker in its class, but it works well with no noise and looks very good doing it. Does it cost $100? Well, that's for the buyer to decide, for me it's worth it. I have no regrets getting this over some others in this class I've looked at. If you just want the best bang for your buck, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a good balance of performance, noise and looks, this is the way to go.
