Unfortunately, I can't tell you much about the 2022 version, I bought this hard drive just a year ago for a working machine, but I can tell you a lot about the older brother of the 2022FBYZ series - 2022 days of non-stop work as a working drive. During this time, two WD Blues on 3Tb and 5Tb managed to die off, I made a decision and bought exactly the same new one, since they cost 7tr when I bought it, as a result, the working files were moved to exactly the same disk, and I use this one for less important workers files. For all this time, not a single problem, not a loss of speed, in the HDD Sentinel - 100%, the operating temperature is 30-45C in my large case, it is better to take a better cooler and power supply for such a hard drive, this is the basis of data security. Surface tests also did not reveal any problems, I do it every 6 months. Also, both disks are absolutely quiet, unlike the older brother on 8Tb, which rustles and makes a crack, I bought it for regular backups, again before the price increase for 18tr. This is the best hard drive for storing important data that I had, optimal size, speed. I lost data several times in my life and it was sad, in general, most of them were saved, but unfortunately not all. If we talk about the safety of important data, then the optimal bundle is to take this hard drive and make a copy of it once a quarter or more often to any external 2Tb hard drive. Never lose data! I hope that 2022 will perform as well as 2022.
