Review on 🎧 Plantronics Blackwire C710 Wired Headset: Enhanced Communication and Superior Sound Experience by Kimberly Becker

Disappointed: Telephone accessories

Wanted such a headset. It had the features I was looking for, with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. It just didn't cut it in execution. Pros: - Features: USB and Bluetooth connectivity in one on-ear headset. Cons: - Sound quality. There was more noise and crackling on my end. Even after switching to this headset, I was constantly told to repeat myself. This never happened with my old headset. Maybe I had a bad block. I could have exchanged it instead of returning it if it weren't for the other issues listed below. - Female Voice Prompts: When you press the mute button, an automatic, slow female voice will tell you the sound is on. They couldn't hear other voices as she pulled it out. She regularly reminded you of this, which amazed and interrupted the conversation. You can lose entire sentences of the interlocutor when he speaks. - Inconvenient: I use the headset all the time during the day. My old Plantronics on-ear headset was so comfortable I forgot about it. This headset was like an alien sucking my brain out through my ear. No adjustment helped. - Carrying case: The carrying case is so big that it makes no sense to have one. This sleeve does not fit in a laptop bag. It's almost 8 inches by 8 inches tall and almost 2 inches thick. It's almost twice as thick as my laptop. My laptop bag (or any bag I've ever had) doesn't have a pocket to put it in. This renders the case unusable, making the headset unportable, meaning it's always sitting on my desk, meaning there shouldn't be Bluetooth unless I'm walking, which I don't. I returned it.

Cons
  • For old
