Caution - not all brass quick-connects work together
These are as good as other brass connectors I've used. There is another brand very similar to these, but the lip on the male adapter is slightly longer than the other, rendering these non-interchangeable. It seems more sturdy than the plastic connectors, but it will still pick up minerals from your water, requiring maintenance every six months to keep them working more than one season. The maintenance is nothing more than cleaning off any accumulated minerals, then spraying with WD-40, and takes about three minutes. I try to buy just this brand to avoid compatibility issues.
